About Us

Spatial Initiative is the joint venture of property services company Styles&Wood and offsite construction specialist Extraspace Solutions.

A bespoke combination of expertise

Spatial Initiative unites Styles&Wood’s skills in pre-construction, fit-out and project delivery with Extraspace Solutions’ innovation in modular construction, to offer the education sector a uniquely tailored service delivering buildings that really work for our clients and their end users.

Spatial Initiative is proud to have been appointed to three frameworks by the Department for Education (DfE) using modern construction methods to deliver exceptional learning environments across schools in England.

In addition to the DfE’s Primary Block framework, we were also appointed to eight lots on the DfE Contractors Framework in November 2017 for delivery of the DfE’s £4.4bn Priority School Building Programme and secured a place on its Secondary Block Framework in July 2018.
